About Wooditjup National Park

Formerly known as Bramley National Park, Wooditjup (pronounced wood-it-jup) National Park is a mountain biker‘s paradise located just 2km north of Margaret River town. This stunning 2,000-hectare park is home to one of Western Australia‘s most extensive networks of purpose-built mountain bike trails.

Named in recognition of the traditional Wadandi name for the Margaret River area, Wooditjup National Park features over 30km of single-track trails winding through native jarrah and marri forest. The trail network offers something for every skill level, from gentle beginner paths to technical challenges for advanced riders.

The park‘s diverse trail system was designed and constructed with environmental sustainability in mind, allowing riders to experience the natural beauty of the forest while minimizing impact on the delicate ecosystem. Planning Your Visit

The main trailhead for Wooditjup National Park is located on Carters Road, approximately 2km north of Margaret River town center. There is a large parking area with information boards displaying the trail network.

For first-time visitors, we recommend starting with a few of the green trails to get familiar with the area before progressing to more challenging routes. The trail network is interconnected, allowing you to create rides of varying lengths and difficulties.
